Why Buy a 3 Wheeler Buggy?

A three-wheeled buggy is a great option for those who enjoy a morning run. They come with larger wheels that provide an easier ride, however they are heavier and require a larger car boot.

If you plan to take your pushchair outdoors look into models with air-filled tires (also known as pneumatic). They can take on any terrain and include a an front wheel that can lock to provide greater stability.

What is a 3 wheeler buggy?

Whether you're going off road or around town, a 3-wheel buggy provides superior maneuverability. They can turn at a moment's notice and are light in handling and pass the rigorous tests of stability. The sling seat made of fabric is positioned snugly inside the frame and not on top like modular seats. This results in lower center of gravity, which makes it easier to push your buggy. Mountain Buggy(r) even has the first of its kind: sport verso(tm), a 3 wheeled inline chassis that expands with your family - from a parent's face infant carrier to toddler ride-on board.

Are you planning to go "off-road"?

It's important for those who want to travel off-road and are more adventurous that their vehicle can take on rough terrain. You want a good suspension system that can absorb bumps, and large wheels with air-filled tyres to provide excellent grip on rough surfaces.  3 wheeler buggies  on the front is an excellent feature for stability when running on rough surfaces.

MFM reviewer Kath really put this fun lovin' buggy to the test by driving it through rough cobbles, grass and dirt tracks with her newborn and 3 year old. She she said "it tackled everything with ease and was even pleasant to jog with. The 16'' rear wheels and the lockable'swivel' wheel on the front give great stability when tackling off-road paths or uneven surfaces. The tyres have built-in suspension for a smooth ride."

Sport verso is a new world-first. It's an amazing single buggy, but it can easily be modified to accommodate two (or more!) When your family expands, you can use the same buggy. The fabric sling seat fits comfortably inside the frame at the ideal height for perfect weight distribution, instantly giving you a much more comfortable push, a less hefty curb pop, and a more efficient ability to maneuver on any terrain.

Do you want to 'do some sightseeing Do you want to 'go around town'?

A three-wheeler has a single wheel at the front and two wheels in the rear. Based on the model the wheel can be free to move or it can be locked to ensure that the buggy can only move in straight lines. They are simple to drive and manoeuvre, and usually have tyres with air filled and suspension for an enjoyable ride. They are ideal for everyday use in the city and are able to handle kerb-popping and going off road.

However, just like any buggy, it is essential to drive responsibly and not get distracted by tablets, mobile phones or other device. It is also crucial to avoid driving whilst feeling under the influence of alcohol or drugs since this can alter your reaction time and judgment. If you do have a car boot to store your buggy, be sure to check the dimensions of its footprint when fully folded to ensure it will fit inside your car.

If you are looking for a buggy that can transport you from the park to shops, look for one that has large shopping baskets and features that are useful, such as a padded handle, strong brake pedal (that will stop when you hit the slope) and a large, extendable 50+ sun canopy. MFM reviewer Kath liked the fabric sling which has an automatic lie-flat mattress for newborns. She also thought the seating was positioned perfectly within the frame to ensure a good weight distribution. However, she did note that a 4-wheeler could have more storage space.

This 3-wheeler is ideal for urban adventures, too, thanks to its incredible maneuverability. MFM reviewer Kath tried it out and found that it was able to navigate through bumpy sidewalks, grass and cobbles without difficulty. It was also able to handle the kerbs in town, because the seat sling made of fabric is perfectly positioned within the frame at a perfect height for weight distribution.

The buggy can also be used to jog, since it has locking swivel wheels that can be locked on the front and a'snug & stretch' tyre that gives a smooth ride. The only drawback of the large wheels is that they may be difficult to fit into more compact spaces when folded. It has some impressive storage features that make up for it! It has a large basket and a zippered rear pocket.
